It, the body at least, would seem to have started life as a fairly good quality Markneukirchen 'Schachtel' that someone has lived out his fantasies on. (Maestronet, 2023)
The body is certainly not made 'by an amateur' but by a Mark/Schön Schachtelmacher, and was supplied 'white' to the trade. Somebody bought it, and 'finished it off' as seen. (Maestronet, 2023)
Lots evidence of quite fine detail and precision construction. It is a perfectly beautiful instrument and I can imagine that if it plays as well. (Maestronet, 2023)
